Water Well in Somalia 2023
The Akhirah Project and Care Foundation UK have teamed up to fundraise for a water well in Somalia.
Across the Horn of Africa, at least 19.4 million people have been affected by the drought which began in October 2020.
More than 11.6 million people cannot access enough water for drinking, cooking and cleaning across the Horn of Africa, including 3.2 million in Somalia.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The best charity is giving water to drink” [Ahmad] and he was the most generous in giving charity .
One nation charity who operate on a 100% donation policy will facilitate and commence the construction work of building the water well In Somalia which will provide water to the most needy and to use in their daily life.
