Frequently Asked Questions
The Akhirah Project's guidelines ensure that the collected Zakat follows Shariah Law when being distributed. The charity collaborates closely with local and national Ulema to ensure proper zakat implementation.
The Akhirah Project gives out Zakat as cash when suitable. However, in regions affected by conflict and in remote global areas where currency holds minimal value or people face difficulties in buying aid and supplies.
With the well-being of recipients in mind, the charity assesses people's needs and supplies them with what they agree upon (Wakalah), including essentials like food, shelter, emergency aid, and clothing.
Our team at The Akhirah Project has personally visited and delivered assistance to several countries mentioned in our projects. Our focus is on visiting these regions to gain a deeper understanding of the required aid. We have provided assistance in places like Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh, and Lebanon. Through these experiences, our teams have gained valuable insights into the living conditions of the most vulnerable and their immediate and long-term needs. Additionally, our trustees routinely make follow-up visits to ensure that projects have been executed as intended and that your donations have been used as per your wishes.
We uphold a 100% donation policy, ensuring that your entire contribution reaches the intended beneficiaries. Our operational expenses are covered by corporate sponsors, allowing us to allocate your entire donation for its intended purpose. Any excess sponsorship funds are channeled into our relief account.
Transparency is paramount to us, and we are committed to providing regular feedback to our donors. This includes videos, images, annual expenditure reports, and comprehensive updates.
